Home Prices Continued to Increase in Las Vegas Area

Home prices in Las Vegas, Henderson, and Summerlin continue to increase from an average sale price of $163,219 in the 4th quarter of 2012 to $208,287 in the  4th quarter of 2013, which is 27.9% increase. Short sales closings have decreased in 2013 by 69.1%.

During the fourth quarter of 2013 home sales were down. November had the lowest amount of residential resale closings in 5 years. There were 10,193 closings in the 4th quarter of 2012 and 8,047 in the fourth quarter of 2012, which is a difference of 21.1% decrease.
